Postcard Marketing for Real Estate Agents
 

Postcards are an extremely effective direct mail tool for real estate agents and can be interspersed with your sales letter mailings to hit your target market or your farm area from a different angle. 

Postcards can significantly reduce your mailing costs and don’t have the problem of a letter (getting thrown away before it's opened ) because they don’t need to be opened.  They can also be quite large and contain a large amount of information if you don’t mind springing for a regular first class stamp.

Obviously they cannot contain as much information as a sales letter but they can provide a nice change of pace in your campaign and can still be quite effective.

I know a Realtor that has mailed 20,000 of the same postcard every two weeks to the same list and has for years.  He continues to do it because it continues to draw a strong response.  He is always mailing so he is always hitting those people who suddenly have a need for his services.  And because he has been mailing regularly he has developed top-of-mind awareness in that area without having to do expensive image-style advertising.
